Pre-School Room
The
preschool teachers further enhance the children's education by providing
a structured yet flexible routine. It is very important for children of
this age to follow a schedule in order to prepare for Kindergarten. Circle
time is held at 9:00am and ends around 9:45am. During this time the children
learn how to count in different languages, identify letters and their
sounds, spell their name, practice sign language and learn the days of
the week and the months of the year. At 10:00am all of the preschoolers
join each other at the table for a morning snack. When snack is finished
the children play and explore at different centers which include dress
up, computers, kitchen, writing and blocks. When all the morning learning
is finished we take the children outside (weather permitting) for some
fresh air and exercise. |
