Little Tree Child Care

Our Staff

Miss Tara is the owner and director of Little Tree Child Care. She has owned Little Tree since October 2006. Miss Tara has about seven and half years of experience working in a child care setting plus an additional five years experience babysitting. She has obtained an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and would like to continue her education in the near future.

Prior to her career at Little Tree Child Care, Miss Tara was Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked at the Lutheran Home of Topton from 2001-2006. She also worked for Bayada Nurses caring for children with special needs from 2007-2006.

Miss Ashley J. has four years of experience with working with children. She is currently working to obtain her bachelors in Early Childhood & Elementary Education from Desales University. She has been working at Little Tree since August 2008.


	Mrs. Carrie has a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University. After getting her degree she worked at Palmer Moravian Day School in the toddler class for five years. After relocating with her husband and daughter to Kutztown, she started working at Little Tree in September 2008. She has worked with infants through preschoolers and enjoys coming to work everyday.

Miss Coral has been working at Little Tree since August of 2009. She has fours years of experience working with children. Miss Coral plans on attending college in the near future to earn a degree in pediatric nursing.

Miss Emily has been working at Little Tree since October 2006. She enjoys working with young children and is going to school at Lehigh Carbon Community College for Early Childhood Education.

	Miss Katy has been at Little Tree Child Care since August of 2008. She has an additional five years of experience working with children as a babysitter. Miss Katy has two daughter of her own that attend Little Tree. She will be enrolling at LCCC in the near future to pursue a career as a registered nurse.
	Miss Laura has gained experience in child care from working as a volunteer at church nurseries. She has worked with infants through second grade. She plans to attend Lehigh Carbon Community College followed by Mississippi State for Business Marketing.

Mrs. Steffany has a Bachelors in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania(IUP). Prior to having her family, she worked as the Nutrition Project Coordinator for Indiana County Area Agency on Aging. She also worked as a manager in college food services at IUP and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Mrs. Steffany has worked with children for over 25 years, and has three children. She has worked at Little Tree since August 2005. Working with children is her passion!

Miss Steph has a Bachelors in Early Childhood & Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She has worked at Little Tree while home from college since May 2008. Miss Steph has been working with children for seven years, which includes teaching 1st & 2nd grade sunday school. She has experience caring for infants through 6th grade.
